Strategic Food Plan of Catalonia 2021-2026

The regulatory bases for the grants to promote the transformation of the Catalan agri-food system aligned with the Strategic Food Plan of Catalonia 2021-2026 have been published.

It is expected that the grants can be applied for in September. So, if you have a moment, take a look: you may find a grant that you can apply for and start preparing your application.

The lines you can apply for are the following:

  1. Grant Line 1, for the calculation of the environmental sustainability profile of agricultural enterprises in Catalonia, including the product's environmental footprint (annex 2).

  2. Grant Line 2, for shared food infrastructures (annex 3).

  3. Grant Line 3, for the promotion of digitalization and business traceability through smart labeling (annex 4).

  4. Grant Line 4, for the promotion of transformative projects to increase the added value of food products and co-products (annex 5).

  5. Grant Line 5, for support in advising on compliance with hygiene and quality regulations for small producers (annex 6).

  6. Grant Line 6, for the creation and dissemination of awareness activities for the prevention of food loss and waste, and innovative projects for food utilization (annex 7).

  7. Grant Line 7, for the promotion of generational renewal and entrepreneurship in food craft businesses (annex 8).

  8. Grant Line 8, for the promotion of the creation and continuation of new businesses led by women, related to food production and processing (annex 9).

  9. Grant Line 9, for the promotion of food transformation projects by third sector social action entities (annex 10).

  10. Grant Line 10, INNOTRACK, for innovation in the areas of digitalization, sustainability, and business competitiveness, for the preparation of proposals for participation in European projects, for innovation in the management and efficient use of water in the agri-food and forestry industry, and for innovation in the prevention of food loss and waste (annex 11).
