Augueró Plantes will take part in the professional fair Municipalia and Innocàmping, offering solutions for a more environmentally friendly type of gardening.

The company, located in the municipality of Forallac, specialises in selling ornamental plants for professionals and, since its beginnings, has worked towards a more sustainable kind of gardening.

“We believe that we are currently at an ecological turning point and must take responsibility in the face of climate change. Global responses are needed, but also local ones. That is why our garden centre promotes the sale of native and Mediterranean plants —protectors of biodiversity, low in water consumption, and requiring little maintenance,” explain the company’s directors.

Their participation in the event, from October 21 to 23, has a dual purpose: on the one hand, to give visibility and highlight this type of ornamental plant designed to create living spaces in campsites, municipalities, and outdoor leisure areas; on the other, to collaborate with local producers and artisans who also share this ecological commitment.

During the fair, they will showcase “irrigation pots” and explain this autonomous and efficient watering system, known since ancient civilizations but later replaced by more modern ones. These pots, made of porous clay, water plants through capillarity, providing constant moisture and adapting to soil needs, while reducing evaporation and water waste. A Km0 production that reinforces the renowned ceramics of La Bisbal d’Empordà.

Municipalia-Innocàmping is a professional fair held in Lleida and is considered the most important municipal services and equipment fair in Spain and one of the leading ones in southern Europe. This biennial event brings together companies, institutions, and professionals from both the public and private sectors specialising in public services, urban planning, public spaces, renewable energies, urban gardening, and landscaping.
