Municipalities of Espais Industrials Empordà meet with AEPEIE to boost industrial estate competitiveness
Yesterday marked the latest round of meetings between the municipalities of Espais Industrials Empordà and members of the board of the Association of Business Owners and Property Holders of the Espais Industrials Empordà (AEPEIE).
AEPEIE representatives were received by Òscar Aparicio, Mayor of La Bisbal d'Empordà; Josep Sala, Mayor of Forallac, together with Carles Frigola, Councillor for Economic Promotion; Dani Encinas, Mayor of Cruïlles, Monells and Sant Sadurní de l'Heura; and Raül Yruela, Mayor of Corçà.
These meetings allowed for a detailed analysis of the specific needs and challenges of the industrial estates in each municipality, while also providing an opportunity to share the concerns of the local business community. Through this dialogue, potential action lines were identified to enhance the attractiveness of the industrial estates, stimulate economic activity, and improve the competitiveness of the companies operating there.
The municipalities emphasised the importance of this collaborative space as a means to directly engage with businesses and jointly plan future projects and actions. In this context, the role of AEPEIE was recognised as a key interlocutor between public administrations and the business sector, thanks to its ability to gather and convey the proposals and needs of the estate’s business and property owners.
These meetings are part of a shared strategy aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of the industrial areas of the Empordà and promoting the sustainable economic development of the region.
