The new grants of the Food Strategy of Catalonia are published.

They consist of 10 lines that aim to promote the transformation of the agri-food system to advance in environmental, social and economic terms: These lines are:

Line 1: for the calculation of the environmental sustainability profile of agricultural companies in Catalonia that includes the environmental footprint of the product.
Line 2: for shared food infrastructures.
Line 3: for the promotion of digitalization and business traceability through smart labeling.
Line 4: for the promotion of transformative projects to increase the added value of food products and co-products.
Line 5: for support for advice for compliance with hygiene and quality regulations for small processors.
Line 6: for the creation and dissemination of awareness-raising activities for the prevention of food loss and waste and innovative projects for the use of food.
Line 7: for the promotion of generational succession and entrepreneurship in food craft businesses.
Line 8: for the promotion of the creation and continuation of new companies led by women, related to the production and transformation of food.
Line 9: for the promotion of food transformation projects of third sector entities of social action.
Line 10: INNOTRACK grants, for innovation in the field of digitalization, sustainability and competitiveness of the company, for the preparation of proposals for participation in European projects and for innovation in the field of management and efficient use of water in the agri-food and forestry industry and for innovation in the field of prevention of food losses and waste.
