Three companies from the local industrial estates receive the ECO CAT + label for their commitment to sustainability

Three companies located in the industrial areas of the region have been awarded the ECO CAT + label, a distinction that recognises commitment to sustainability and environmentally friendly business practices in the artisanal and industrial sectors. These companies are Tell Fusta (Polígon La Bordeta Forallac), Llenas Natur Cork (Polígon V2 Forallac), and Upcycling Bottles, recently established in the Forallac business incubator.

This recognition is part of the European project C.A.T. (Cross-Border Artisanal Cooperation), co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg POCTEFA programme. The award ceremony took place in Barcarès, in Northern Catalonia, and brought together Catalan and French companies committed to responsible business models.

The awarded companies stand out for implementing practices such as reducing their carbon footprint, efficient waste management, the use of sustainable materials, and promoting short supply chains.

The local strategic plan highlights these companies as examples that sustainability and innovation are possible in all sectors and production environments. Their efforts inspire a greener and more resilient future driven by local entrepreneurship.
